We are the only clinic in The North to offer the Revolutionary wearable sensor technology
ViMove2 is now available at NB Physiotherapy to manage your injury risk and guide rehabilitation
Pain, aches and injuries keep you away from what you want to do. We want to keep you safe, optimise your performance and help you recover faster. To do that, we need to tailor a treatment plan that’s unique to you. Now we have a great tool that does just that. It’s called ViMove2 and it uses revolutionary wireless wearable sensors to objectively measure exactly how you move. In doing so, ViMove2 provides our team with visual, objective, easily interpreted data to improve your assessments, choose and manage treatment options designed just for you, and document your therapy progress.
ViMove2 allows for the areas of concern to be pinpointed through the monitoring of your movements for up to 24 hours in order to understand your pain experience, and see how your lifestyle, both in work and out-of-work contribute to this. This unique detailed understanding, combined with our therapies, can improve your condition at an accelerated rate to get you back to peak performance.
What can ViMove2 measure?
ViMove2 can be used to measure movement and muscle activity on different parts of your body such as your lower bag or legs, or it can be used to enhance technique or optimise performance in activities like running. This also allows it to target areas of concern in your body and your daily life.
ViMove2 Low Back
Every patient is different and a one size fits all treatment approach doesn’t always work. With ViMove2 Low Back, we can understand how you’re moving both in and out of the clinic, and deliver tailored treatment programs that produce real results. ViMove2 Low Back can assess patients in and out of the clinic for up to 24 hours to pinpoint areas of concern to better-understand the factors that are contributing to your condition.
ViMove2 allows our team to collect complex running data in real-time which cannot be seen by the human eye by assessing and comparing the impact of individual variables such as speed, gradient, footwear, and running technique. We can then prescribe a tailored exercise program based on the data collected to reduce your injury risk and improve performance.
With ViMove2 Knee, our team can assess knee kinematics when a patient is performing dynamic movements. This allows us to accurately measure range, speed and direction of knee movement in two planes while performing high-speed tests such as vertical hop and squat, so as to assess the quality of the movement and any possible improvements.
Through the use of ViMove2, you can really gain a competitive edge as the state-of-the-art assessment programmes allow for performance maximisation, as through them we can tailor regimes made specifically for you, your body and your lifestyle.
